The Georgia Department of Transportation is supporting the Reach Home Safely mobile application, to promote safe driving habits across the state of Georgia!

View your overall score, trips, driving trends, and rank on the leaderboard when you join and record trips. There are also ongoing contests that drivers will compete in, with the safest drivers automatically becoming eligible to win a variety of prizes! Think you have what it takes to win?

Be a part of a movement to improve road safety for Georgians and prevent crashes throughout the baseball season and beyond.

How to Participate

To compete in the contest, participants will need to download the free Reach Home Safely mobile app, available on the App Store and Google Play Store​. After activating, participants only need to drive safely — the app automatically detects when they’re driving.

The app tracks and provides feedback on driving behavior. It also allows participants to view their driving scores, trips, trends, and contest rankings. The contests include weekly, monthly, and grand prize winners throughout the baseball season. There are also ongoing contests that drivers will compete in, with the safest drivers automatically becoming eligible to win a variety of prizes!

The safest drivers can win prizes, including tickets to a 2024 regular-season game at Truist Park, Braves swag, and more!

​​The application and contests are open to Georgia residents age 18 or older. ​​​

If would like to delete your Reach Home Safely account, you may do so in one of the following two ways:

  1. Inside the Reach Home Safely app:
    • Click on the "More" icon in the lower-right corner of the app's main dashboard page
    • Once you reach the "More" page, click on "Settings"
    • Once you reach the "Settings" page, click on "Request Account Deletion"
    • Confirm that you wish to delete your account by clicking "Yes"
  2. Via email:
    • Send an email to GDOTPrivacy@dot.ga.gov
    • In either the subject line or email body, indicate that you would like your Reach Home Safely account deleted
    • Our customer service team will process your request and reach out if there are any questions

This account deletion process includes the deletion of user-specific and identifiable information including email address, mobile number, user ID, geographic data, and other demographic information.

Georgia DOT will take all reasonable steps to verify your account and process your request in accordance with applicable law. Verified requests may take several business days.​​​​
