Project Description:
This project is located on State Route 25 (US 17) over Darien River in Darien, Georgia, McIntosh County. Proposed is a new about 1475-ft long by 63-ft wide bridge over Darien River. The proposed centerline will be offset 3 feet to the east and the profile will be raised. The proposed design speed is 45 mph. The total length of the project is approximately 2500 feet (0.48 miles). During construction, one direction of traffic will remain open on the bridge, while the other direction will be detoured around via I-95.
