The guidebooks below are for Environmental Analysts. They aid development of the project’s environmental document and help the Environmental Analysts act as the project’s environmental lead. Environmental documents are required for federal-aid projects in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act. For state-funded projects costing over $100 million, a Georgia Environmental Policy Act (GEPA) environmental document is required.
