Fueling Economic Growth in Georgia

Now, Georgia DOT is delivering on the promise to enhance mobility and safety, fuel economic growth, and improve Georgians’ quality of life. Passage of Transportation Funding yielded the flexibility and funding to begin addressing major investments in Georgia’s transportation network. A concerted effort was undertaken to identify projects that have established existing needs and ensured meaningful, positive results for all Georgians. The initial 11 mega-projects will support economic and community development, improve mobility and multimodal options and boost Georgians’ quality of life.
