State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP)

The SWTP accesses the current and future performance of all major transportation modes in the state. More Info
Statewide Travel Demand Model
The Georgia DOT developed a statewide travel demand model to evaluate the impact of major transportation infrastructure and land use investment strategies. More Info
Travel Demand Forecasting Model
The Georgia DOT develops and maintains travel demand forecasting models to support MPOs during their Federally required Long Range Transportation Plan update. GDOT has also developed a statewide travel demand model to evaluate the impact of major transportation infrastructure and land use investment strategies. More Info

Georgia DOT performs Value Engineering studies on all construction projects with a total combined costs of $10 million or more. More Info
