Project Description:
This project is the widening and reconstruction of State Route 60 from just north of the intersection of SR 136 to Yellow Creek Road in northern Hall County. The existing roadway consists of two 12 foot lanes with rural shoulders. The new roadway will be a four lane urban section with a 20' raised median. The existing culvert at Squirrel Creek will be extended to accomplish the proposed widening. Traffic will be maintained during the construction of this project. This project will enhance safety and reduce congestion along this portion of State Route 60.
